From selling machines to building them

Joypac World did not start in a workshop — it started in the field. Johnson Medara, our Managing Director, spent his early career in packaging machinery sales, travelling to spice mills, flour units and namkeen factories across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra. He sold machines, demonstrated them on live product, and then stayed back to hear what happened three months later.

That customer-side view taught him what no catalogue could: buyers were not short of machines, they were short of machines that held weight accuracy at speed, sealed cleanly on real film, and could be serviced without waiting weeks for an imported part. He carried those complaints back to the manufacturers he represented — and when the answers kept falling short, he decided to build the machine himself.

Joypac Technologies was founded on that brief. Johnson put his sales relationships behind his own brand, brought in design and fabrication talent, and set up manufacturing at Plot No. 127/P, Navodaya Industrial Area, Phase-5, Cherlapally, Hyderabad, Telangana, India - 501301. Machines are now designed, fabricated, wired and product-trialled under one roof, and he still personally reviews trials before a machine is crated.

More than 15 years on, the company still runs like a salesman built it — the customer's shift target comes first. That is why Joypac is ISO 9001:2015 certified, why customers across Asia, Africa and the Middle East reorder, and why our promise stays simple: joy in every pack.
